I have a JACE with primary IP of lets say 10.1.1.1. Secondary IP of lets say 20.1.1.1. The Primary is on the customer network and communicates to a N4 Supervisor. This N4 Supervisor also has CXProHD installed on it. The Secondary port on the JACE is connected to a CBXi that has MSTP devices connected to it. What configuration needs to happen in the JACE, CBXi, and CXProHD to allow for upload/download of the MSTP devices connected to the CBXi from the N4 Supervisor?

Hi Jeremy, I can’t seem to get this to work with the BBMD settings you mentioned. Here’s the scenario:
I have a JACE with 3 ABB MSTP controllers connected to COM1. The JACE primary IP is lets say 10.1.1.1. I can download via CXPro, no problem. What do I need to do with the BBMD settings to be able to upload in CXPro?

Is there a trick to being able to upload from MSTP ABB controllers connected via MSTP direct to a JACE? I can download no problem, but when I try to upload it tells me that a smartrouter isn’t configured? Are there settings or modules needed in the JACE so CXProHD views it as a smartrouter? JACE is running 4.11 and CXPro is 1.07.

Thanks for the reply! If you have the CBXi on the secondary IP port of the JACE, how do you connect to it and the downstream controllers via CXProHD? Is there some way to port through the JACE from the Primary port to the Secondary port to connect? Does it work for uploads and downloads in CXProHD?
